Travel Awaits, a travel magazine for people aged 50 and over, published a list of “10 Winter Resorts and Towns Even Non-Skiers Will Love” in November.
The following are the top five cities in the list of travel weights.

1. Sun Valley, Idaho
According to Travelweights, the Sun Valley Resort has luxury accommodation, delicious food, plenty of outdoor activities and a “world-class spa”. The magazine reported that the resort is also known for its non-crowded ski slopes.
2. Jackson Hole, Wyoming
In addition to the incredible skiing at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, there are plenty of shopping, spaces and restaurants in the center of Jackson Hole, according to TravelWait.

3. Breckenridge, Colorado
According to Travel Awaits, Breckenridge Ski Resort is one of Colorado’s most popular ski resorts. However, the town of Breckenridge also offers a lot for non-skiers, including craft breweries, historic architecture, hiking and shopping, Travelweights reported.
4. Taos Ski Valley, New Mexico
Travel Weights reports that there are delicious food and “never-ending galleries and museums” for art lovers in Taos, New Mexico. Nearby landmarks include Taos Pueblo, a Native American community and the UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge, according to Travel Magazine.

5. Steve Mountain, Vermont
Aside from skiing at Stowe Mountain Resort, there is still much for non-skiers to do. According to Travelweights, fat biking – cycling on icy trails on wide-bodied bicycles – is a popular non-skiing activity. There are also a number of other activities in nearby towns, Travelweights reported.
