The commission said in a written decision that Polanyi’s suspension will remain in effect until February 2023, Spanish-language outlet Infobae reported..
“It is the duty of this commission to refrain from repeating the contempt of the judge for investigating her position and the contempt she has shown to her colleagues in the public prosecutor’s office, the prosecution and the defense,” the commission wrote.
“We find no justification for a judge to subject himself to such deplorable circumstances when he had the comforts of his own home and all the facilities necessary to properly prepare for a public hearing, and with respect that he deserved such a hearing.”

Reacting to the incident, Polanyi told a local radio station that she was lying in bed during the hearing because she was suffering from an anxiety attack. Spanish-language outlet El Pace.
He further alleged that he had been threatened with disciplinary action in the past for his online conduct.
