Karachi: Provincial Education Minister Syed Sardar Shah has ordered the admission of 1,500 trainees under the undergraduate training program in the education department of the college as per the decision of the Sindh Council of Ministers.
A training period will be given in the college affiliated to the Department of Education for a period of seven months, and an announcement of the call for applications in this regard has been prepared and sent to the Information Department which will be published on Sunday.
Trainees will be paid Rs 60,000 per month and the subjects in which the trainees will be placed are Physics 122, Chemistry 120, Arithmetic 98, Botany 107, Zoology 107, English 190, Computer Science 208, Urdu 61, Sindhi 98, Pakistani Studies 80, Islamic 54, commerce 46, science 49 are included.
Under the College Training Programme, 66 trainees will be recruited in Economics, 52 in Statistics, 28 in Education, 49 in Political Science and 5 in Home Economics.
It should be noted that there was an acute shortage of teachers in Sindh colleges due to the inactivity of the Sindh Public Service Commission trainee.
In 2018, the administration of the Colleges of Education sent 1,500 lecturer positions, 540 assistant professor positions, 270 associate professor positions, and 26 professor positions that have not yet been filled.
