Appreciate Pakistan and pledge allegiance to it with a sincere heart. (Photo: file)
Saturday 23 March 1940 was a significant day for Muslims of the Indian subcontinent when the then Prime Minister of Bengal, Mulvi Fazlullah, presented a resolution for a separate state for Muslims at the annual meeting of the All India Muslim League in Mantu. Park, Lahore, This is called the Lahore Resolution.
It is also mentioned in the history books that prior to this decision a resolution was made in Karachi in 1938 to create a separate state, which was presented at the meeting at which a separate country for Muslims was requested. The decision was not accepted. However, the resolution introduced on March 23, 1940 has laid the foundation for Pakistan. The resolution was introduced on March 23, but approved on the third and final day of the meeting, March 24, around 11:30 p.m. This was the three-day annual meeting of the All India Muslim League, which ran from March 22 to March 24, and was chaired by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Having made this decision, the Muslims of India, under the zealous leadership of the Quaid-e-Azam, spread their bodies, minds and money to achieve a separate state “Pakistan” for themselves, and then the world saw it for only seven years. Tirelessly and as a result of sincere movement, on August 14, 1947, a new country, Pakistan, appeared in the world. Sacrificing wealth, honor and even life for it was an honor and a motto “Pakistan means, there is no god but God” proclaimed the foundation of Pakistan forever.
Today is the 75th anniversary of the founding of our country Pakistan through the movement started as a result of this resolution and every year we celebrate on March 23 as Pakistan Day with patriotic enthusiasm there is a holiday. On this day, various events are organized in the institutions on the occasion of Pakistan Day, where prayers for love for the homeland, patriotic anthems and love songs for the Pakistani army are sung. Watching Pakistan Army’s TV Show in the morning invigorates the spirit of faith and awakens the static spirit of patriotism. At night, dramatic television channels and television programs are shown on the occasion of this day and the whole nation seems immersed in a series of beautiful pearls.
The government and the opposition are also on the same page as everyone celebrates Pakistan Day in their own way. Everyone in the country looks good. The heart wants to stay there forever for a moment, and after the 23rd of March the sun of the 14th of August will rise when there is a spring of patriotic green flags everywhere, love songs are sung everywhere and the whole nation is bound by the great bond of brotherhood. And no one should consider anyone inferior to him. In this way, this streak will go on and on forever.
But as March 23 passes, why are we all taking off our renewed commitment masks and the same old hated faces? Why do we only talk about our rights? Why do we forget the rights and duties of others in the next moment? Why do we all begin to do the things we got in a separate country to get rid of, and for which old men sacrificed their wealth, their honor, and their souls. Why do we, who prayed for the betterment of this country only one day before, sacrifice our interest for our own the next? Why start off rooting for a little greed? Instead of increasing our faith and patriotism with each upcoming Pakistani day, why decrease with each upcoming Pakistani day?
The answer to all these questions is that we made every event and every day an event and assumed that all these important days and events have now earned the status of a festival. We celebrate each of the 365 days of the year with great enthusiasm and go back to our times the next day. As long as the essence and spirit of these important days are not instilled in us, we will continue to celebrate this day just like miles on chariots, but neither our moods nor our habits will change.
Look no further! We became a majestic messenger on the 12th of Rabi’ al-Awwal, al-Husayni in Muharram, regular prayers in Ramadan, we sacrifice more than each other on Eid al-Adha, on March 23 and August 14, we become resolute and patriotic Pakistanis. But on the other hand, we do not follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet (may God bless him and grant him peace) in our daily lives, we do not adopt the Hussainiya character, we do not instill the spirit of Ramadan in ourselves, and we do not perceive philosophy. From sacrifice, they put Pakistan’s interests before their own. At the same time we also celebrate Valentine’s Day, April Fool’s Day is a part of our life, and now as of 2016 the Women’s March is also one of our activities. On Labor Day, everyone but the workers goes on vacation and talks about their rights in closed rooms. Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Teachers’ Day, Women’s Day and many others are celebrated with pomp and circumstance, then the next day all our feelings subside and we all return to our time. Because we made every day count and everything count just a fair booth. I celebrated the festival and that’s it.
Look at the state of political tolerance in our country today and the atmosphere of religious harmony before us. What future herald the priorities and commitments of our young generation? If all these circumstances change, then we have to change our priorities and consider the love of our religion and our country a part of our soul and instead of just sacrificing it for the sake of justice, we have to follow their teachings and do it forever. He is.
Today is March 23rd again, which we are celebrating in full force. It is a day of renewal of commitment, do not make it just a festival but appreciate your country Pakistan by understanding the significance of this day and the great movement that took place as a result of it and sincerely appreciate it. Pledge of allegiance. And do not only understand the spirit of the word on its basis, but also take it into your body and soul. Only then will we be able to prove our claim of loyalty to him.
May God bless our country by day and Lord four times, and give us the strength to serve Him in the true sense. (Trustworthy)
