Abu Dhabi: The government issued a passport to an Israeli child born in the United Arab Emirates.
According to the International News Agency, the United Arab Emirates issued the first Israeli passport. This passport was issued to an Israeli child born in the United Arab Emirates.
Amir Hayek, the Israeli ambassador to the UAE, wrote in his tweet that another happy moment was when the first Israeli passport in the UAE was granted to an Israeli child born here.
It should be noted that in September 2020, diplomatic relations between the United Arab Emirates and Israel began under the Abraham Accord mediated by the United States, and in the same year, 4 other Arab countries restored relations with Israel.
On the other hand, Azerbaijan also announced today the opening of its embassy in Israel. This embassy will be opened in Tel Aviv, while Israel has had its own embassy in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, since 1993.
Azerbaijan is a Shiite-majority country with strong relations with Iran, but despite Iran’s opposition, Azerbaijan announced the opening of its embassy.
