Model Gigi Hadid was reportedly arrested on July 10 after arriving in the Grand Cayman Islands with marijuana in her possession.
A rep for Hadid confirmed to People magazine that “Gigi was traveling in NYC with legally purchased marijuana with a medical license.” “It has also been legal for medical use in Grand Cayman since 2017. His record is clear, and he enjoyed the rest of his time on the island.”
Hadid shared a handful of photos and videos from her time on the island shortly after the news broke.

Hadid and a representative for authorities in the Grand Cayman Islands did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
Local outlet Cayman Marl Road reported that Hadid and friends arrived on the island by private jet on July 10 and were processed by Customs and Border Control. According to the store, a small amount of marijuana, apparently enough for personal use, and other drug paraphernalia were found.
The model was later arrested and taken to a detention center and later released on bail.
Hadid appeared in summary court, where she allegedly pleaded guilty and was fined $1,000.

Hadid has been sharing her vacation photos on Instagram.
“Morning!” she captioned a photo from four days ago.
One of the photos shows a dragon tattoo on the hip of the Victoria’s Secret model.

Hadid is the mother of a daughter that she shares with ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik.
The couple broke up in late 2021 after welcoming Khai in 2020.
