Wild Weather in Western New York This is having a major impact on sporting events as large amounts of snow continue to fall around the Buffalo area.
Saturday’s game between University of Akron and the University of Buffalo have been postponed, the Mid-American Conference announced in a statement.
“Due to the current weather conditions in the Buffalo, New York area, this Saturday Mid-American Conference football game Postponed between University at Buffalo and University of Akron,” Mack posted on Twitter.

According to Fox Weather, up to four feet of snow is expected in the Buffalo area between Thursday and Sunday.

The game was to be played at UB Stadium in Buffalo with kickoff at 3:30 pm ET.
The Bulls are 5-5 and need one more win to become bowl eligible, while the Zips are 1-9 on the season.
