Oregon police are searching for a suspect after reports of a shooting at a Portland hospital early Saturday morning, Fox News Digital has learned.
Portland Fire and Rescue tweeted that officers were responding to “gunfire” at Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital around 11:20 PDT Saturday.
Police are actively searching for the suspect who they believe left the hospital. (KPTV)
Police confirmed in a press release that the suspect fled the scene and that the Special Emergency Reaction Team (SERT) and Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) were responding to the incident in the surrounding area.

The hospital remains on lockdown as police search for the suspect.
Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler shared in a Twitter post. People in the area are urged to “stay alert until further notice”.

At 12:15 PDT, Portland Fire and Rescue said it was no longer involved in the incident.
