The Biden team announced $72M in combined fundraising hauls in the second quarter

President Biden’s team announced that his campaign and the Democratic National Committee took in $72 million during the second quarter.

The newly released numbers include money from several entities, including President Biden’s campaign, the DNC and its joint fundraising committees from April to June.

The team announced that more than 394,000 donors have contributed more than 670,000 to committees and 30% are new donors. They reportedly have a combined cash worth of $77 million.

Former President Trump’s team announced earlier this month that its joint fundraising committee had raised $35 million during the second quarter, while Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ campaign said he had has raised $20 million in the first six weeks since its announcement.
