Dartwood does not use a knife.
At Philadelphia International Airport, workers discovered a woman trying to snatch two knives through airport security. Apparently, the woman had really chosen a unique hiding place.
TSA spokeswoman Lisa Forbstein confirmed on Twitter that a woman traveling from Philadelphia Airport was caught with two knives hidden inside a Dartwood teddy bear. TSA officials said the back of the stuffed animal appears to have been closed again.
The doll belonged to the woman’s 9-year-old son.
TSA officers located the two knives when the bear was inserted through an X-ray machine.
“The lion and the lion and the bear – oh my,” wrote Forbstein. “Oh no, no, no! TSA officers at Philadelphia International Airport yesterday found two knives hidden inside a baby stuffed animal. TSA officers saw that the bear’s back had been rebuilt.” The boy was traveling with his mother. “

Fox News had earlier reported that a TSA officer at Newark Liberty International Airport saved a child from suffocation. Cecilia Morales reportedly heard horrific calls for help from the family and jumped into action.
The mother of the 2-month-old baby started crying for help when she picked up the baby from her car seat carrier and noticed that he was holding his breath.
Morales demonstrated Heimlich’s gait by placing the infant face down on his arm and patting his back. EMTs eventually arrived at the scene and provided oxygen to the baby. The TSA reports that the baby is OK.
